Too busy to go out at Thursday night at Halloween? It's still not too late to catch the magical Halloween experience at the weekend at Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, ri! If you rent a car and drive with your friends there the drive takes about only 1 hour one way. With $18 entrance fee you could visit the Zoo and enjoy the amazing view of thousands of pumpkins carved into fun and beautiful shapes!

It's also very convenient to check out the Waterfire show at the center of Providence not far from the Zoo. Don't miss out the last full lightening of the year on Nov. 2nd, Saturday! All Full WaterFire installations light up over eighty braziers from Waterplace Park to Memorial/South Main Street Park. Lighting occurs shortly after sunset and this event will continue until 11:00 pm. On this day it's also a special salute to the Veterans. Starting at 5:45 pm 150 Veterans will march from the State House steps to Waterplace Park Basin led by the Rhode Island Professional Firefighters Pipes and Drums. This will be followed immediately at 6:00 pm Salute to Veterans Lighting Ceremony in Waterplace Basin with performances by the Navy Band Northeast and the Army 88th Band.
Besides, at the Memorial Park right next to Waterfire, among the grove of trees float hundreds of shimmering blue stars with luminaria candle lanterns flickering beneath them. It's a wonderful Starry, Starry Night.
