Harvard University is a popular tourism site in Boston. Instead of just walking around on your own, I highly recommend to follow the student guided tour. This official historical tour of Harvard is guided by Harvard University students, about 1 hour long and is free of charge. The student guides are very friendly and welcoming. They share with the visitor the history of the Univeristy and general information. You might think, hey I'm not really a fan of History. Actually, the student guides explain it in a really fun way and share a lot of fun anecdotes of the University, besides if you have any question to the University they are willing to answer, so the tour is still really worth paticipating!
The siging up for the tour is absolutely simple with no hassle. You could just go to their Visitor Center at 1350 Mass Ave and directly go to the information desk saying you would like to participate in the tour, then they will give you a sticker saying official tour. Then you wait on the second floor for the tour guide and enjoy exploring Harvard University!
